Over 50 prom dresses were given out during the annual Project Prom at Alliance High School! Along with the dresses, shoes, accessories, men's suits and ties were also given out to many students excited for prom next month. πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί If an AHS junior or senior was unable to attend Project Prom on Friday, they can reach out to their school counselor to set up an appointment to look for a dress, suit, shoes or accessories. A special shout out goes to the students in the Job Training Coordination (JTC) class, Stacey Breedon, Teresa McMillen and Heidi Hoffmeyer for organizing and hosting Project Prom. A big thank you goes to Gloria Kovacik for offering her seamstress services to tailor the dresses and suits for the students at no cost. We can't wait to see the students at Prom! #RepthatA

4th grade students in Casey Cross' and Melanie Dubaj's reading classes, have been studying animal adaptions in non-fiction texts as well as fictional folktales "explaining" how animal traits came to be. The learning extended to art class where students' created a watercolor chameleon. In music class, the students learned by adding multi-cultural folktales to the Choir's Spring Concert set list. This team effort took student learning deeper and made for meaningful conversations and connections across academics and fine arts! #RepthatA
