🦃 It's Feast Day! 🦃
Throughout the district, our Aviators will enjoy a delicious meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, grapes, carrots, rolls and pumpkin pudding! This meal wouldn't be possible without our AMAZING cafeteria staff! They spend hours upon hours each year preparing this extra special meal for all the students and staff to enjoy.
We are so grateful to have cafeteria staff across the district who truly care about providing the best possible meals to the students at Alliance City Schools! They really are the best of the best! 🩵✈❤

At Tuesday's meeting, two students spoke to the Board of Education about their experience with the transition project, a partnership between Alliance and the University of Mount Union! As part of this project, about 26 10th graders met with UMU students and created a presentation about themselves and future careers they would be interested in. The students then present the projects at Mount Union.
Sole'yah Copper and Jason Klaas gave their presentations to the board members and answered questions about their projects. Both students did a fantastic job!
The goal of this project is to help students to start thinking about their futures and what path they should take to achieve their career aspirations.
We are constantly being reminded just how amazing our Aviators are! ✈ #RepthatA

The young Aviators at Alliance Elementary School and Alliance Intermediate School were visited by basketball coach, Dani Gallina, and some of the high school basketball team last week. Coach Dani explained why learning fundamentals at a young age is so important for athletic success at the high school level. Every girl got to shoot a basketball and had a chance to answer questions about the sport. The winners of each group got a Lady Aviators basketball or t-shirt and a little bit of basketball knowledge! 🏀
Our young Aviators can still sign up for the YMCA girls youth basketball league by emailing Coach Dani at gallinada@alliancecityschools.org with the player's name and grade. ✈ #RepthatA

The junior Job Training Coordination (JTC) students worked hard to cook a Thanksgiving feast! 🦃 They shared the delicious meals with their friends in the senior JTC class. The student learned to make everything from mashed potatoes to stuffing to green bean casserole. During the feast, they were encouraged to talk to friends and make friends with someone they may not know.
The juniors learned so many valuable skills by cooking this meal. They learned how to read a recipe, how to properly measure ingredients and how to safely handle food. Great job, JTC! #RepthatA
