Students in Steve Cabassa's art class at Alliance High School were asked to design and paint a mural for the indoor play area at Alliance Preschool. Each student created a design and voted for the one they like the best.

The students in Tanya Coler's class at Alliance Early Learning School learned all about the life cycle of butterflies. They watched them go from little caterpillars to monarch butterflies. After watching them grow, the student released them outside. #RepthatA

Students are in full fall mode! Art students at Alliance Intermediate School created a concentric circle night sky and added black bats for dimension. They also crafted a pumpkin out of recycled paper towel rolls. #RepthatA





Tracy Bowser and Tanya Coler’s classes recently visited the Rodman Public Library Where they read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and took part in some fun activities.
Along the way they got to stop and talk to some firefighters at the station on Broadway! #RepthatA





Students in Addie Bender, Trisha Bartel, and Diana Fails' 2nd grade classes at AES participated in Apple Day! Clinical practitioner from YSU, Delaney Willoughby, who is completing her student teaching in these classes planned a cross curricular day all about apples. It was a very fun day of learning! The students completed apple lessons in reading, writing, science, social studies, music, art, and math! They ended the day with a special apple snack. #RepthatA

Recently, a firefighter from our local fire department visited and read to Chelsea Young’s class as part of the Men Making a Difference reading program. Men from the Alliance community visit AES classrooms once a month to read to the students and answer their questions. We love having this program available to our 2nd and 3rd grade Aviators! #RepthatA
