Ron Hill, former teacher at AHS, visited the students in AP US History and AP English Language to talk about political cartoons. He discussed his process for creating cartoons and showed them the beginning steps in creating one. Thanks for coming back to AHS, Mr. Hill! #RepthatA

The Alliance Alternative Academies hosted a Community Wide Yard Sale. Students, parents and community members set up tables with everything from clothes to jewelry to face painting being offered. Thank you to everyone who supported the Alternative Academies! #RepthatA
The 7th grade students had a great time on their field trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They learned what it takes to be a member of the HOF and a member of the NFL. They even had the opportunity to see Alliance's own Len Dawson in several areas of the Hall. #RepthatA

AELS Kindergarten teachers celebrated Constitution Day last week with their students. They learned about why the Constitution was written and how it impacts our lives. Each class made its own Constitution, outlining expectations for Kindergarten. Great job, AELS! #RepthatA

This week is Start With Hello Week! Annie Honer, Parkway's school counselor, visited Emily Bates' class; she talked about how to identify social isolation and encouraged them to say "hello" to every one they see. After talking with the students, they played Human Bingo! #RepthatA
