They were part of the first class to attend 7th grade at Alliance Middle School! They have been together for 16 years and married for 5 years. Together they have two children- Chandler, a freshman at Alliance High School, and Dallas, a 4th grader at Alliance Intermediate School! The Star Lab was at Alliance Early Learning School for our students to enjoy! The kids in Megan Harper and Cindy Gaines' kindergarten class had a special treat when their parents joined them in the Star Lab! 🌠 The mobile planetarium brings the stars and constellations to the students so they can learn about our solar system and how day time turns to night. It's always a huge hit with the kiddos who sing songs and experience hands on science at their school. ☀🌒 #RepthatA

🩵❤️ Aviator Sweethearts: Shawn ('10) & Tia ('08) Doak ❤️🩵 Shawn and Tia's parents were good friends and the two grew up together. They started dating while in school and have been together for 19 years and married for 12. Together, they have 3 little girls and a little boy! Their favorite memory about being high school sweethearts is their shared love of soccer. The two played the sport throughout high school and continue to play to this day. Now, they get to pour their love of soccer back into the community by coaching 2 of their children who play for Alliance. They had their first date on Feb. 15, 1975 and got married June 9, 1979. Together they have two children- Chris and his wife TJ and Becca and her husband Jeff- and 3 grandchildren- Isaac, Leah and Hallie. Their favorite memory from high school was attending the Band Dinner Dance and Prom together their senior year! Jolyne's brother told Matt in the band room that if he talked to her, he'd have to marry her and they are still together 50 years later! Diana Roth's class at Alliance Early Learning School recently celebrated Dragon Appreciation Day! 🐉 Students loved the book read by special guest readers Principal Cory Muller and Assistant Principal Holly Power. They were also able to select and adopt their very own dragon! Other activities included dancing to dragon songs, more books and making a trail mix called Dragon Food.
