Students at Alliance Intermediate School played Human Bingo during Start With Hello Week! This activity encouraged students to learn more about their classmates and interact with more than just their friends! #RepthatA




Yesterday all students and staff at Alliance High School wore name tags as part of Start With Hello Week! This encouraged everyone to call each other by their names, which can have a positive impact! #RepthatA



First grade students at AELS started the school year with a focus on character building and getting along together. Kate Harris' class wrote their own version of the book "It's OK to Feel" by Zachary Gibson and sent a copy to the author. Awesome job, first graders! #RepthatA

Come celebrate Alliance High School's 50th anniversary!
An open house will take place on Sunday, October 16 from 2-4 pm. Alumni of all ages are invited to attend the open house and tour the building to see how it has changed since they walked they halls as students. This event is also open to all families and community members.
Alumni from 1973-1976 are encouraged to email scanned photos that they may have from their high school days to be included in a slideshow presentation. The photos can be sent to Cheyanne Gonzales at gonzalesch@alliancecityschools.org.


The Jobs Training Coordination (JTC) class recently made an appearance on Kyle’s Kitchen on Spectrum Cable Television. Joey Hunt, a JTC senior, mixed two of several varieties of smoothies the class will start selling to AHS staff in November.
You can learn more about JTC and the fun things they do by watching the segment! The Kyle’s Kitchen show is taped monthly by Spectrum staff and Media Arts students with various community and school guest chefs.

As part of Start With Hello Week, AMS celebrated Post It Day today! The students wrote kind messages on post it notes and placed them on lockers throughout the school to make someone's day. #RepthatA


The students at AES celebrated International Dot Day on Friday! Principal Cory Muller read the book "The Dot" by Peter H. Reynolds, which encourages students to be brave and make their mark. Each student then created their own dot! #RepthatA





ACS is celebrating Start With Hello Week!
Tracy Bowser's kindergarten class started with hello this morning by visiting the office staff! They practiced using the staff members' names, introduced themselves and asked questions.

The Alliance City Schools administrative team toured downtown Alliance yesterday! They started at Rodman Public Library followed by visits to the City of Alliance Health Department, the Alliance Community Pantry and the Carnation City Players at the Firehouse Theater. They even had a mini scavenger hunt of other notable places in downtown Alliance. #RepthatA





The varsity girls soccer team celebrated Daddy-Daughter Night on Monday! The athletes brought their fathers or father figures to the game and father-daughter pairs were able to attend the game for free! #RepthatA
