Rielly Lemmon, 7th grader at AMS, is competing at the State Power of the Pen today and tomorrow at Ashland University! She earned her spot after placing 7th at districts and 16th at regionals this season.
Rielly and Coach Kerry Varble, an AMS teacher, will have the opportunity to meet and greet with award winning author Justin Reynolds, participate in creative writing workshops and will write in at least 3 rounds of creative writing to be scored in competition.

The AHS Physical Education students were able to enjoy the sunshine last week while fishing at the castle ponds! They discussed safety and casting techniques using two types of rods/reels. Their patience and persistence was as bright as the sunshine.

Ke'Sean Kilgore has a full-time job at SCG Fields lined up following graduation! He was one of the Construction Trade seniors hired by the company to complete the work on the AHS baseball and softball fields this spring.
Along with being in the Construction Trade CTE program, Ke'Sean ran Track and Cross Country, played Basketball and was part of the E-Sports team.
