AIS recently recognized Luke Lineberger and McKenna Young for being caring citizens and speaking up against bullying-type behaviors.
When McKenna was asked what motivates her to speak up, she said "It's important to look after others. We all need support sometimes."
Luke mentioned that he finds it important to "show that I am a good friend who will stick up for them. Making fun of others is not okay. I don't want them to be brought down and that's why I do this."
We are proud of both students and want to encourage others to demonstrate the same level of kindness. Way to #RepthatA!
