Alliance High School cosmetology teacher and alum, Robert Fountain '08, visited the kindergarten classes at Alliance Early Learning School to tell them about his careers as a teacher and salon owner! The students loved hearing about his jobs, asking him questions about what it's like to be a teacher and salon owner and learning about the tools he uses to cut hair. He even reminded them about the importance of never cutting their own hair! ✂ Mr. Fountain graduated from the same cosmetology program at AHS that he now teaches! We are lucky and grateful for the full circle that brought him back to his roots at AHS! ✈ #RepthatA

The Alliance High School Social Justice Team and the Choirs joined together to host the annual Diversity Night last week! The theme for this year's event was "Connection Through the Arts!" The program was all about how the arts bring people together from all over the world, and allowed us to celebrate and experience how different cultures have impacted the arts. Attendees heard a variety of songs from the choirs and even saw a step dance performance choreographed by AHS Alum Ande' Green. The evening featured student speakers including the Alliance Middle School Pathfinder essay contest winner, Gabriel Cox, who read his essay titled "Beyond the Month: Reflecting on Black History's Personal Impact." The night ended with the AHS Jetsetter performing Michael Jackson's "We are the World" and "Black or White." The students did a wonderful job organizing and hosting Diversity Night! We are proud of these outstanding Aviators! #RepthatA
