Congrats to Matthew Eversdyke & Julia Schwartz who wrote about the importance of voting in the Elks Americanism Contest. Matthew placed 2nd & Julia’s essay placed 1st at the district & state level & finished in 3rd place at the nationals.
Congrats to AMS students Caroline Denny, Hannah Mazzei, Allenna Bertram, Jane Miller, & Jordan Schwartz who all competed at the state science fair this past weekend & received an excellent rating.
Congratulations goes to Kylie Davis for winning the OHSAA Middle School State Championship in the shot put with a throw of 41.9.

The AMS Media Center is sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair, “Buy One Get One Free”, during the week of May 8th- 12th. The Book Fair will be open during Spring Arts Night on May 11th from 6-8:30 pm.
Mrs. Priest's class completed a Dream Vacation Project. They went all over the world & budgeted a vacation. They are now working on a Career Project researching careers & used %'s to create budgets.

AMS Spring Sports Awards will be held on May 18th at 6:00 pm.

AHS Boy’s Soccer Meeting
Any boy who will be attending Alliance High School next fall and is interested in playing soccer should attend a meeting being held this Sunday May 7th at 6:00 PM at the locker room at Rockhill Field.
This meeting is for boys currently attending the high school as well as eighth grade boys planning on playing soccer at the high school this fall.
Information regarding summer soccer and physicals will be distributed. Both players and their parents are encouraged to attend.

The NBC Middle School Track Meet has been moved to Salem due to excessive rain and parking.
