Tracy Bowser's Kindergarten Class had fun with the Gingerbread Man story. The students read 30 versions of the story and went on a gingerbread hunt. They ran as fast as they could, but they could not catch the Gingerbread Man. He did leave them a tasty treat to enjoy! #RepthatA




Kathy Elliott's class at the Alliance Early Learning School attended the Rotary Christmas Party at the Elks. They got to see Santa and they received gifts. They absolutely love their gifts! #RepthatA

Leonardo came to perform as part of our Kindergarten Music and Art Unit. Preschool and Kindergarten classes joined together for two shows to see his live performance. Leonardo's show was very entertaining and fun for the children. What a great time they had! #RepthatA

Alliance Early Learning School celebrated Thanksgiving today with their annual Thanksgiving Feast! The students made decorative headbands and hats to wear with turkeys and colorful feathers! What a great feast it was! #RepthatA

Alliance City Schools will run on a 2 hour delay today (Friday, November 16, 2018) due to power outages. Morning preschool classes are canceled, and evening preschool classes should report at normal time. Alliance Career Center Adult Education classes will run as normal.
The preschoolers at The Alliance Early Learning School always look forward the monthly visit from Janet Metzger. She visits for story time and engages the young students in age appropriate literature and songs. #RepthatA


The students in Shari Johnson and Susan Mann's class learned about the Letter G. Susan Mann shared information about our class pet, Gilly the Guinea Pig! Gilly's cage is in the library lab because she loves to listen to the children read her a story. #RepthatA



This week in Adam De Monte's room, students are learning about going to the market! There is a market set up in the housekeeping area. Students can role play going to the store or working at the cash register. This is one of the student's favorite times of the year. #RepthatA


At AELS, Team B classes all went on an autumn leaf hunt. They found amazing fall colors at the park across the street from the school. Students selected leaves to use later in the classroom. They also had fun throwing them up in the air and watching them FALL. #RepthatA




Myra Zink, the school nurse at NIS, assisted with the vision screening at AELS earlier this week and had some fun in the process! #RepthatA

Sandi Zemrock and Laura Hackney's class had the chance to explore the fall changes at the Nature Center. Students were able to smell herbs and see animals. While walking through the woods, they noticed the different leaves and learned how animals prepare for the winter. #RepthatA




The annual ACS Coat Give-Away is just a week away! Any student in the district in need of a coat can stop by the Alliance Community Center from 4-6 p.m. on October 25. #RepthatA

Kindergarten students in Megan Harper and Cindy Gaines' class are learning about their senses while reading "Senses at the Seashore." As a culminating activity, students created a Mr. Potato Head that illustrates the parts of the body that relate to their senses.
