The team took part in the Alliance Intermediate School STEM Challenge in January where they presented their winning idea on how to improve the health and well-being of astronauts aboard Starlab orbiting the Earth.

Renee Marinchek's art classes at Alliance Intermediate School have been working on a multi-media artwork inspired by graffiti art. Students used sponges to make brick-like prints, chalk pastels to write and draw on their brick walls and watercolor to paint their names. Watching the students experiment with various kinds of materials was really fun to see! #RepthatA

Alliance Intermediate School hosted a "Soup"er Bowl challenge for their staff! A group of judges were tasked with tasting all the soups and voting for their top three .

Diana Roth's class had a big day on Friday! For their January PBIS incentive they traveled to Hot Pots where the each painted a plate in their own design. All of that creativity works up an appetite. The class went to Bob Evans where they enjoyed lunch! In Social Studies they have been learning about restaurant etiquette. They each did an amazing job and received compliments from staff and other diners. Way to #RepthatA!
The next #LikeAGirl event is coming up on Wednesday! This meeting will include a photoshoot to create #LikeAGirl posters of the participants.

Students in Autumn Whiteleather's class at Alliance Intermediate School had a guest reader! Gretl Whiteleather, her mother, spoke to students about her job as a dairy farmer and more specifically cows! She read "Mootida's Bad Mood" by Corey Schwartz and Kristi Call. Mrs. Whiteleather then handed out a Milk Book Package and answered questions related to milking cows, their ages and weight. Students then got to meet and pet a baby calf. How cool! #RepthatA

Students in Casey Cross' reading classes collaborated with Paula's Oesch's and Danielle Gleason's social studies classes to provide specific encouraging feedback on the students' Native American projects. Each student selected three presentations to provide a note of encouragement. Afterwards, the students recorded a video message to share with the classes. #RepthatA
Paula Oesch's 4th grade class recently completed projects about Native American history. The students were asked to create posters, poster boards or dioramas to present to their class along with a research paper. All the students did a great job! #RepthatA

Students in Jason Morgan's class at Alliance Intermediate School work to earn numbered squares when they meet math goals on in-class assignments and activities. Mr. Morgan then holds a number grid drawing and awards students with cool prizes. The students were so excited! Way to go, Mr. Morgan and students! #RepthatA
