We are excited to announce that every student and staff member at Alliance City Schools will receive a pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses! These special glasses will allow our Aviators to safely experience this historic event. The glasses will be distributed by the buildings at the beginning of April. #RepthatA
The 3rd graders at Alliance Elementary School worked very hard on their Space Unit projects! Each student chose a planet to research, write a report on and present about. They all did a fabulous job! 🌏 #RepthatA
Andy the Armadillo brought brownies to the students in Suzanne Hartline's class at Alliance Elementary School! The students earned the special visit for being top sellers for the Texas Roadhouse gift card fundraiser. They had so much fun meeting Andy and seeing his cool dance moves.

Alliance City Schools will be closed on Monday, April 8th for the Solar Eclipse.
After consulting with the Stark County Emergency Management Agency and the Stark County Education Service Center, we have determined that it is in the best interests of our students, staff, and families to close school due to the anticipated number of people that will visit Stark County to view the Eclipse. Kevin Kern, a theatre professor from Mount Union, visited all the classrooms in the Green Hallway at AES to read "The Grinch" before winter break. He was awesome! The students then made thank you notes to go along with their discussion of acts of kindness for the month of December. #RepthatA
