Dear Parkway and Rockhill Families,
We were blessed this fall with beautiful colors and warm weather. With the weather changing, please be sure your child/ren are dressed for outdoor recess. October ended with our Halloween parties and Oct. 25 marked the end of the first nine week grading period.
Now, with the start of November, we prepare to meet with our families during Parent Teacher Conferences on Nov. 7 and Nov. 12. Information regarding conferences was sent home two weeks ago. If you were unable to schedule an appointment with your child/ren’s teacher, feel free to contact the office for an appointment. We look forward to this time of the year. It gives the teachers an opportunity to touch base with the parents about their child/ren’s progress and continue to support the home/school relationship!
November is a time for giving thanks and we are thankful for our staff members. We believe that we have dedicated, knowledgeable and caring teachers/staff members at Parkway and Rockhill Elementaries. Teaching is no longer a bell to bell job and teachers put forth many extra hours past their contractual day to ensure the best education possible for your child. With this being said, we want to thank YOU parents for ALL that you do to support your child’s education!
