CLASS INFORMATION 2010-2011
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All classes are offered by the Alliance Career Centre
without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap. There are no
residential requirements. Full-time programs
require a high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate.
ACCREDITATION: The Alliance City Schools Career Centre has met the
high standards required to become accredited by North Central Association of
Colleges and Universities. Accreditation by NCA means we have the resources,
personnel and leadership necessary for effective education. The Robert T. White
School of Practical Nursing is also accredited with The Ohio Board of Nursing.
APPLICATION FEE: All full-time classes have an application fee of $40
to be turned in with application.
SENIOR CITIZENS: All persons 65 or older may register for part-time
classes (only) at 50% off regular tuition price unless otherwise specified.
However, this does not include the cost of any books, supplies or materials.
PART-TIME AND SPECIAL INTEREST
CLASSES: There will be NO notice
sent out for classes having sufficient enrollment. If you sign up for a class,
prepare to attend the first night/day. You will only hear from us if the class
is cancelled. Students will be responsible for remembering starting dates, time,
and locations.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS:
FEES:
Full payment of fees must be received before entering your name on the class
roster. All fees must be paid before the first class session.
REFUNDS: Short-term classes: Full refunds will be given if the
class is cancelled due to lack of sufficient enrollment. Allow 3 weeks for
refund. There will be no refunds issued
after you have attended the first class. Full-time classes: Please call
the Financial Aid Office for details.
PAYMENT POLICY: Full payment of registration fee is due at the time
you register. If interested in a full-time training program, contact the office
at 330-821-2102 regarding Financial Aid and payment of fee.
LOCATION: The Alliance Career Centre is located at 530 N.
SCHOOL CLOSINGS: When the Alliance City Schools are closed due to
weather or holidays, the Alliance Career Centre full and part time programs
will be closed as well.

7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the
