Program Description |

Medical Assisting is a challenging field that requires the most diversified employee. The unique features of the Evening Medical Assistant program are the core curriculum, specialized instruction, clinical experience and development of job seeking skills. |

This is an evening course designed for the student who cannot attend class during the day. This program follow the same curriculum as the Diversified Health Technologies program. The Evening Medical Assistant program runs Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. Classes run from August to June with clinical hours running from June to August. |

Second Trimester Basic Medical Office Skills Transitions Class Microsoft Word Pharmacology Child Abuse Psychology First-Aid CPR |

Third Trimester Clinical work at designated sites for approximately 25-40 hours per week. Upon graduation, students will have completed 300 hours of hands-on clinical time. |
