AELS students from Megan Harper, Cindy Gaines, Lori Gasparik and Holly Power's classes recently celebrated "Grinch Day". The student's arrived at school dressed as their favorite character from the Grinch story. There were Grinche's, Who's, Max, the dog and Cindy Lou Who's. The Who's spent the day doing "grinchy activities". Some of the most exciting activities were listening to the story of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas", read by principal, Tim Calfee, playing Grinch tic tac toe, watching the original Grinch cartoon, eating a Grinch snack and the most exciting part of the day, meeting the Grinch himself. During all of the fun and excitement of the day, the students did learn a valuable lesson that Christmas doesn't necessarily come from a store, maybe Christmas means just a little bit more.
